Welcome to Stretch and Shine Pilates!

A unique Pilates experience tailored for children and teenagers, designed to build strength, flexibility, balance, and confidence in a fun and supportive environment.

Stretch & Shine Minis (Age 3–4 / Pre-school)

A playful and imaginative introduction to movement using story-based activities and games. Designed to build basic motor skills and confidence through parent-supported Pilates-inspired play.

Stretch & Shine Movers (Age 4–7 / Reception–Y2)

30-minute class

Fun sessions using games, stories, and themed movement to introduce the foundations of Pilates.

Designed to support posture, coordination, and basic strength in a playful and supportive environment.

Stretch & Shine Juniors (Age ~7–11 / Y3–Y6)

30-minute class

These fun and slightly more structured classes combine Pilates-based exercises with games and movement challenges.

A great way to build strength, balance, posture, and confidence while keeping sessions active and enjoyable.

Stretch & Shine Teens (Age ~11–16 / Y7–Y11):

45-minute class

A dynamic class for teens to build strength, flexibility, posture, and control in a friendly, supportive space.

We use Pilates-based movement to develop core stability, alignment, and confidence.

Great for sporty teens, dancers, or anyone wanting to move well, feel strong, and improve body awareness.

Thursday

Movers (Reception–Y2): 3:45–4:15pm

Juniors (Y3–Y6): 4:30–5:00pm

Teens (Y7–Y11): 5:15–6:00pm

Coming Soon / Potential Sessions

Minis (Age 3–4): Weekday morning session (Tuesday option – register interest)

All classes may also be run on Saturday mornings depending on demand

FIRST CLASS FREE

Minis / Movers / Juniors (30 mins): £6.50 per session

Teens (45 mins): £7.50 per session

Paid in blocks (e.g. 6-week term = £39 / £45)

FAQs

Q: Do parents need to stay during class?

A: Yes for Minis (age 3–4, parent joins in), advisable for Movers (age 4–7), optional for Juniors (7–11), and not required for Teens (11–16), though parents are welcome to wait in the back treatment room.

Q: How do I know which class is right for my child?

A: Classes are grouped by age, but if your child is on the border between age groups (e.g. age 7 or 11), feel free to get in touch and we’ll recommend the best fit based on confidence and experience.

Q: What should my child wear?

A: Comfortable clothes they can move in — leggings, joggers, or shorts and a T-shirt. No shoes needed; barefoot or grip socks are ideal.

Q: What happens if my child misses a class?

A: Missed classes are non-refundable, and we’re unfortunately unable to offer transfers or make-up sessions.

Q: What should my child wear?

A: Comfortable clothes they can move in — leggings, joggers, or shorts and a T-shirt. No shoes needed; barefoot or grip socks are ideal.

Q: Do they need to bring anything?

A: Equipment is provided but you may wish to bring a water bottle. Teens should also bring a small towel to use as a head cushion during floor work.

Q: Can my child try a class before committing?

A: Yes — one free trial class is offered. If a booked trial is missed without notice, the session will be charged at the normal rate.

Q: How do I register?

A: Email Roberta at [email protected]. A registration form must be completed before your child attends their first class. This must be signed by a parent/carer if under 16, or by the participant if aged 16+.
